kṛṣṇa-pāśa āise pratyāśāya
nā pāya kṛṣṇera saṅga, bāḍe tṛṣṇā-taraṅga,
tapa kare, tabu nāhi pāya

Translation
Traducción
“When she hears the vibration of Kṛṣṇa’s flute, even the goddess of fortune comes to Him, greatly hoping for His association, but nevertheless she does not get it. When the waves of thirst for His association increase, she performs austerities, but still she cannot meet Him.
«Cuando escucha el sonido de la flauta de Kṛṣṇa, hasta la diosa de la fortuna corre hacia Él, con grandes esperanzas de tener Su compañía, pero, pese a todo, no la obtiene. Cuando las olas de la sed de Su compañía aumentan, se somete a austeridades, pero, aun así, no puede reunirse con Él.
