lokān samagrān vadanair jvaladbhiḥ
tejobhir āpūrya jagat samagraṁ
bhāsas tavogrāḥ pratapanti viṣṇo

Traducción

Translation

¡Oh, Viṣṇu!, te veo devorar a toda la gente por todas partes con Tus flameantes bocas. Cubriendo todo el universo con Tu refulgencia, Tú te manifiestas con terribles y abrasadores rayos.

O Viṣṇu, I see You devouring all people from all sides with Your flaming mouths. Covering all the universe with Your effulgence, You are manifest with terrible, scorching rays.
