Traducción
As the demigods closed their eyes in fear, Vṛtrāsura, taking up his trident and making the earth tremble with his great strength, trampled the demigods beneath his feet on the battlefield the way a mad elephant tramples hollow bamboos in the forest.
Cuando los semidioses cerraron los ojos, llenos de temor, Vṛtrāsura empuñó su tridente, y, del mismo modo que un elefante enloquecido aplasta cañas huecas en el bosque, Vṛtrāsura pisoteó a los semidioses en el campo de batalla, haciendo temblar la Tierra con su gran fuerza.
