Tak jako na vodě silný vítr odvane loď, i jediný z bloumajících smyslů, na který se zaměří mysl, může odnést inteligenci člověka.
Ligesom en stærk vind fører en båd med sig på vandet, kan blot én af de flakkende sanser, som sindet hæfter sig ved, rive et menneskes intelligens med sig.

Pokud nejsou všechny smysly zaměstnány službou Pánu, může i jediný z nich, který se oddává smyslovému požitku, svést oddaného z cesty transcendentálního pokroku. Jak je zřejmé ze života Mahārāje Ambarīṣe, všechny smysly musí být zapojeny do činností, které provází vědomí Kṛṣṇy — to je správný způsob ovládání mysli.
Unless all of the senses are engaged in the service of the Lord, even one of them engaged in sense gratification can deviate the devotee from the path of transcendental advancement. As mentioned in the life of Mahārāja Ambarīṣa, all of the senses must be engaged in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, for that is the correct technique for controlling the mind.
