Translation
Minha querida esposa de tez branca, é claro que, dentre as muitas filhas de Dakṣa, és a preferida, mas não serás honrada na casa dele por seres minha esposa. Ao contrário, ficarás pesarosa de estares ligada a mim.
My dear white-complexioned wife, it is clear that of the many daughters of Dakṣa you are the pet, yet you will not be honored at his house because of your being my wife. Rather, you will be sorry that you are connected with me.

Purport
SIGNIFICADO—O senhor Śiva apresentou o argumento de que, mesmo que Satī se propusesse a ir sozinha, sem seu esposo, ainda assim ela não seria bem recebida, visto que era esposa dele. Havia toda a possibilidade de uma catástrofe, mesmo que ela quisesse ir sozinha. Portanto, o senhor Śiva indiretamente lhe pediu que não fosse à casa de seu pai.
Lord Śiva put forward the argument that even if Satī proposed to go alone, without her husband, still she would not be received well because she was his wife. There was every chance of a catastrophe, even if she wanted to go alone. Therefore Lord Śiva indirectly requested her not to go to her father’s house.
