यदाचार्य: परावृत्तो गृहमेधीयकर्मसु ।
वयस्यैर्बालकैस्तत्र सोपहूत: कृतक्षणै: ॥ ५४ ॥

Tradução

When the teachers went home to attend to their household affairs, the students of the same age as Prahlāda Mahārāja would call him to take the opportunity of leisure hours for play.

Quando os professores iam para casa a fim de cuidar de suas tarefas familiares, os alunos da mesma idade de Prahlāda Mahārāja chamavam-no para que aproveitassem a oportunidade das horas de lazer e fossem brincar.

Comentário

In tiffin hours, the hours when the teachers were absent from the classroom, the students called Prahlāda Mahārāja, wanting to play with him. As will be seen from the following verses, however, Prahlāda Mahārāja was not very much interested in playing. Instead, he wanted to utilize every moment for advancing in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Therefore, as indicated in this verse by the word kṛta-kṣaṇaiḥ, at the opportune moment when it was possible to preach about Kṛṣṇa consciousness, Prahlāda Mahārāja used the time as follows.

SIGNIFICADO—Na hora do almoço, a hora na qual os professores se ausentavam da sala de aula, os alunos chamavam Prahlāda Mahārāja para brincar com eles. Entretanto, como será visto nos versos seguintes, Prahlāda Mahārāja não estava muito interessado em brincar. Em vez disso, ele queria usar cada momento para avançar em consciência de Kṛṣṇa. Portanto, como indica neste verso a palavra kṛta-kṣaṇaiḥ, no momento oportuno, quando era possível pregar a consciência de Kṛṣṇa, Prahlāda Mahārāja usava seu tempo da seguinte maneira.
