यद्भयाद्वाति वातोऽयं सूर्यस्तपति यद्भयात् ।
यद्भयाद्वर्षते देवो भगणो भाति यद्भयात् ॥ ४० ॥

Tradução

Out of fear of the Supreme Personality of Godhead the wind blows, out of fear of Him the sun shines, out of fear of Him the rain pours forth showers, and out of fear of Him the host of heavenly bodies shed their luster.

Por temor à Suprema Personalidade de Deus o vento sopra, por temor a Ele o Sol brilha, por temor a Ele a chuva cai, e por temor a Ele a hoste de corpos celestiais espalha seu brilho.

Comentário

The Lord states in Bhagavad-gītā, mayādhyakṣeṇa prakṛtiḥ sūyate: “Nature is working under My direction.” The foolish person thinks that nature is working automatically, but such an atheistic theory is not supported in the Vedic literature. Nature is working under the superintendence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That is confirmed in Bhagavad-gītā, and we also find here that the sun shines under the direction of the Lord, and the cloud pours forth showers of rain under the direction of the Lord. All natural phenomena are under superintendence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu.

O Senhor afirma na Bhagavad-gītā – mayādhyakṣeṇa prakṛtiḥ sūyate: “A natureza funciona sob Minha orientação.” A pessoa tola pensa que a natureza funciona automaticamente, mas a literatura védica não apoia tal teoria ateísta. A natureza funciona sob a superintendência da Suprema Personalidade de Deus. Confirma-se isso na Bhagavad-gītā, e aqui também encontramos que o Sol brilha sob a direção do Senhor, e a nuvem derrama pancadas de chuva sob a direção do Senhor. Todos os fenômenos naturais estão sob a superintendência da Suprema Personalidade de Deus, Viṣṇu.
