Translation

Ó rei Parīkṣit, quando Citraketu, prostrado humildemente, estava sentado aos pés de lótus do grande sábio, o sábio cumprimentou-o, louvando-lhe a humildade e hospitalidade, e, aproveitando do en­sejo, dirigiu-lhe as seguintes palavras.

O King Parīkṣit, when Citraketu, bent low in humility, was seated at the lotus feet of the great sage, the sage congratulated him for his humility and hospitality. The sage addressed him in the following words.
