«Del mismo modo que el Señor Kṛṣṇa y Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī son el objeto y el refugio de la melosidad del amor conyugal respectivamente, en la melosidad de servidumbre, Kṛṣṇa, el hijo de Mahārāja Nanda, es el objeto, y sirvientes como Citraka, Raktaka y Patraka son el refugio. De forma similar, en la melosidad trascendental de amistad, el Señor Kṛṣṇa es el objeto, y amigos como Śrīdāmā, Sudāmā y Subala son el refugio. “Just as Lord Kṛṣṇa and Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī are the object and shelter of the mellow of conjugal love, respectively, so in the mellow of servitorship, Kṛṣṇa, the son of Mahārāja Nanda, is the object, and servants like Citraka, Raktaka and Patraka are the shelter.
