Translation

Překlad

This Personality of Godhead [Śrī Kṛṣṇa] has two hands and holds a flute, whereas the other [Nārāyaṇa] has four hands, with conch, wheel, mace and lotus.

Tato Osobnost Božství (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) má dvě ruce, ve kterých drží flétnu, kdežto ten druhý (Nārāyaṇa) má čtyři ruce, ve kterých drží lasturu, kolo, kyj a lotos.

Purport

Význam

Nārāyaṇa is identical to Śrī Kṛṣṇa. They are in fact the same person manifested differently, like a high court judge who is differently situated in his office and at home. As Nārāyaṇa the Lord is manifested with four hands, but as Kṛṣṇa He is manifested with two hands.

Nārāyaṇa je se Śrī Kṛṣṇou totožný. Ve skutečnosti jde o tutéž osobu, která se jen různě projevuje, stejně jako má soudce nejvyššího soudu jiné postavení v úřadě a jiné doma. Jako Nārāyana se Pán projevuje se čtyřma rukama, ale jako Kṛṣṇa se dvěma.
