chinnāḥ siddha-pathe devair
laghu-hastaiḥ sahasradhā

Translation

A chuva de vários tipos de armas e flechas disparadas para matar os soldados dos semideuses não os atingiam porque os semideuses, agindo com presteza, cortavam as armas em milhares de pedaços enquanto elas ainda estavam no ar.

The showers of various weapons and arrows released to kill the soldiers of the demigods did not reach them because the demigods, acting quickly, cut the weapons into thousands of pieces in the sky.
