Prestemos nossa adoração a Vós, o Senhor Supremo, para nos libertarmos da vida material. Sois o mantenedor do universo e a causa de sua criação e extinção. Equilibrado e perfeitamente em paz, Vós sois o verdadeiro amigo, Eu e Senhor adorável. Sois único e inigualável, o abrigo de todos os mundos e de todas as almas.
Let us worship You, the Supreme Lord, to be freed from material life. You are the maintainer of the universe and the cause of its creation and demise. Equipoised and perfectly at peace, You are the true friend, Self and worshipable Lord. You are one without a second, the shelter of all the worlds and all souls.

SIGNIFICADO—Śrīla Śrīdhara Svāmī afirma que o Senhor é um amigo verdadeiro porque põe em movimento a inteligência apropriada da pessoa se ela deseja conhecer a verdade sobre Deus e a alma. Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī e Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī enfatizam ambos que o termo bhavāpavargāya indica a liberação mais elevada, a saber, o amor puro pela Divindade, caracterizado por serviço devocional imaculado ao Senhor.
Śrīla Śrīdhara Svāmī states that the Lord is a true friend because He sets one’s proper intelligence into motion if one desires to know the truth about God and the soul. Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī and Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī both emphasize that the term bhavāpavargāya indicates the highest liberation of pure love of Godhead, characterized by unalloyed devotional service unto the Lord.
Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī também explica que o Senhor Supremo é samam, “perfeitamente objetivo e equilibrado”, ao passo que outros seres vivos, tendo uma compreensão incompleta da realidade, não podem ser perfeitamente objetivos. Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī also explains that the Supreme Lord is samam, “perfectly objective and balanced,” whereas other living beings, having an incomplete grasp of reality, cannot be perfectly objective. Those who surrender unto the Lord also become fully objective by taking shelter of His supreme consciousness.
