iṅhāra puṇye — por su piedad; kṛṣṇe — al Señor Kṛṣṇa; āni’ — trayendo; sākṣī — testigo; bolāiba — yo llamaré; tabe — en ese momento; ei viprera — de este brāhmaṇa; satya — verdadera; pratijñā — la promesa; rākhiba — mantendré.

Translation

Traducción

“By the piety of the elderly brāhmaṇa, I shall call the Supreme Personality of Godhead as a witness. Thus I shall keep his truthful promise intact.”

«En virtud del piadoso carácter de este anciano brāhmaṇa, llamaré como testigo a la Suprema Personalidad de Dios. Así, mantendré intacta la verdad de su promesa.»
