gṛhiṇī gṛham ucyate
tayā hi sahitaḥ sarvān
puruṣārthān samaśnute

Translation

Traducción

“Merely a house is not a home, for it is a wife who gives a home its meaning. If one lives at home with his wife, together they can fulfill all the interests of human life.”

«Una casa no es en sí misma un hogar, porque es la esposa la que da al hogar su sentido. Si un hombre vive en el hogar con su esposa, juntos pueden cumplir todos los intereses de la vida humana.»
