Although the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the master of the demigods, was capable of performing the activities of the demigods by Himself, He wanted to enjoy pastimes in churning the ocean. Therefore He spoke as follows.
Embora a Suprema Personalidade de Deus, o mestre dos semideuses, fosse capaz de executar sozinho as atividades dos semideuses, Ele quis desfrutar do passatempo que consistia em bater o oceano. Portanto, Ele falou as seguintes palavras.
