King Citraketu was especially pleased. After purifying himself by bathing and by decorating himself with ornaments, he engaged learned brāhmaṇas in offering benedictions to the child and performing the birth ceremony.

O rei Citraketu ficou especialmente satisfeito. Depois de se purificar, banhando-se e decorando-se com adornos, convidou brāhmaṇas eru­ditos para que outorgassem bênçãos sobre a criança e executassem a cerimônia natalícia.
