Upon seeing the King engaged in such menial service, Caitanya Mahāprabhu became very happy. Simply by rendering this service, the King received the mercy of the Lord.
Al ver al rey ocupado en aquel humilde servicio, Caitanya Mahāprabhu Se sintió muy feliz. Sólo por ofrecer aquel servicio, el rey recibió la misericordia del Señor.

Significado
Unless one receives the mercy of the Lord, he cannot understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead or engage in His devotional service.
Quien no recibe la misericordia del Señor no puede entender a la Suprema Personalidad de Dios ni ocuparse en Su servicio devocional.

A devotee who has received even a small fraction of the mercy of the Lord can understand Him. Others may engage in theoretical speculation to understand the Lord, but they cannot know anything about Him. Although Mahārāja Pratāparudra was very eager to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the Lord refused to see him. But when Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu saw the King engaged in menial service for Lord Jagannātha, He became very happy. Thus the King became eligible to receive Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s mercy. If a devotee accepts Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu as the universal guru and Lord Jagannātha as the Supreme Personality of Godhead Kṛṣṇa, he is benefited by the combined mercy of Kṛṣṇa and guru. That is stated by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in His instructions to Rūpa Gosvāmī (Cc. Madhya 19.151):
El devoto que ha recibido al menos una pequeña fracción de la misericordia del Señor puede entender al Señor. Tal vez otros se ocupen en especulaciones teóricas para entender al Señor, pero no lograrán saber nada acerca de Él. Aunque Mahārāja Pratāparudra estaba muy deseoso de ver a Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, el Señor Se negaba a recibirle. Pero Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu Se sintió muy feliz cuando vio al rey ocupado en un humilde servicio para el Señor Jagannātha. De ese modo, el rey se hizo merecedor de la misericordia de Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. El devoto que acepta al Señor Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu como guru universal, y al Señor Jagannātha como a Kṛṣṇa, la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, se ve beneficiado con la misericordia combinada de Kṛṣṇa y el guru. guru-kṛṣṇa-prasāde pāya bhakti-latā-bīja
guru-kṛṣṇa-prasāde pāya bhakti-latā-bīja
The seed of devotional service fructifies and becomes a transcendental creeper. Finally it reaches the lotus feet of the Lord in the spiritual sky. This seed is obtained by the mercy of the Lord and the guru. By the Lord’s mercy one gets the association of a bona fide guru, and by the mercy of the guru one gets a chance to render devotional service. Devotional service, the science of bhakti-yoga, carries one from this material world to the spiritual world.
La semilla del servicio devocional da fruto y se transforma en una enredadera trascendental. Finalmente alcanza los pies de loto del Señor en el cielo espiritual. Esa semilla se obtiene por la misericordia del Señor y del guru. Por la misericordia del Señor, entramos en contacto con un guru genuino, y por la misericordia del guru, recibimos la oportunidad de ofrecer servicio devocional. El servicio devocional, la ciencia del bhakti-yoga, nos lleva del mundo material al mundo espiritual.
