jarad-gava hañā yuvā haya āra-vāra
tāte tāra vadha nahe, haya upakāra

Translation

“A matança e rejuvenescimento de tais animais velhos e inválidos não era, na verdade, matança, mas, sim, um ato de grande beneficência.”

“The killing and rejuvenation of such old and invalid cows was not truly killing but an act of great benefit.
