Translation

Tradução

Seeing Dantavakra approach, Lord Kṛṣṇa quickly picked up His club, jumped down from His chariot and stopped His advancing opponent just as the shore holds back the ocean.

Vendo Dantavakra aproximar-se, o Senhor Kṛṣṇa rapidamente pegou de Sua maça, saltou da quadriga e refreou o avanço de Seu adversário assim como a costa detém o avanço do oceano.

Purport

Comentário

Śrīla Prabhupāda writes: “When Kṛṣṇa appeared before Dantavakra, his heroic march was immediately stopped, just as the great furious waves of the ocean are stopped by the beach.”

SIGNIFICADO—Śrīla Prabhupāda escreve: “Ao aparecer diante de Dantavakra, Kṛṣṇa de imediato refreou sua marcha heroica, assim como a costa detém as grandes ondas bravias do oceano.”
