Comentário

When even tulasī herself did not answer the gopīs, they approached the fragrant jasmine flowers. The gopīs, seeing the jasmine vines humbly bowing down, assumed that these plants must have seen Lord Kṛṣṇa and were therefore showing humility in their ecstasy.

SIGNIFICADO—Quando nem mesmo a própria tulasī respondeu às gopīs, elas se acercaram dos fragrantes jasmins. As gopīs, vendo as trepadeiras do jasmim prostradas humildemente, deduziram que aquelas plantas deviam ter visto o Senhor Kṛṣṇa e por isso estavam mostrando hu­mildade em seu êxtase.
