prakṛtim – materialno naravo; svām – Svojo lastno; avaṣṭabhya – ko vstopim v; visṛjāmi – ustvarim; punaḥ punaḥ – znova in znova; bhūta-grāmam – celo vesolje; imam – to; kṛtsnam – v celoti; avaśam – samo od sebe; prakṛteḥ – sile narave; vaśāt – pod nadzorom.

Translation

The whole cosmic order is under Me. Under My will it is automatically manifested again and again, and under My will it is annihilated at the end.

Celotno vesolje je pod Mojim nadzorom. Po Moji volji se samo od sebe znova in znova pojavlja v zaznavni obliki in po Moji volji je na koncu uničeno.

Purport

This material world is the manifestation of the inferior energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. This has already been explained several times. At the creation, the material energy is let loose as the mahat-tattva, into which the Lord as His first puruṣa incarnation, Mahā-viṣṇu, enters. He lies within the Causal Ocean and breathes out innumerable universes, and into each universe the Lord again enters as Garbhodaka-śāyī Viṣṇu. Each universe is in that way created. He still further manifests Himself as Kṣīrodaka-śāyī Viṣṇu, and that Viṣṇu enters into everything – even into the minute atom. This fact is explained here. He enters into everything.

Materialni svet je, kot že večkrat rečeno, pojavna oblika nižje energije Vsevišnje Božanske Osebnosti. Ob stvarjenju se materialna energija sprosti v obliki mahat-tattve in Gospod vstopi vanjo kot Mahā-Viṣṇu, prva od inkarnacij, imenovanih puruṣe. Mahā-Viṣṇu leže na Vzročni ocean, in ko izdihne, iz Njega vznikne nešteto univerzumov. V vsakega od njih Gospod vstopi kot Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu. Vsi univerzumi so ustvarjeni na ta način. Gospod se zatem pojavi kot Kṣīrodakaśāyī Viṣṇu in vstopi v vse, celo v neznaten atom. To je pojasnjeno v tem poglavju. Kṣīrodakaśāyī Viṣṇu vstopi v vse.

Now, as far as the living entities are concerned, they are impregnated into this material nature, and as a result of their past deeds they take different positions. Thus the activities of this material world begin. The activities of the different species of living beings are begun from the very moment of the creation. It is not that all is evolved. The different species of life are created immediately along with the universe. Men, animals, beasts, birds – everything is simultaneously created, because whatever desires the living entities had at the last annihilation are again manifested. It is clearly indicated here by the word avaśam that the living entities have nothing to do with this process. The state of being in their past life in the past creation is simply manifested again, and all this is done simply by His will. This is the inconceivable potency of the Supreme Personality of God. And after creating different species of life, He has no connection with them. The creation takes place to accommodate the inclinations of the various living entities, and so the Lord does not become involved with it.

Živa bitja pa Gospod položi v materialno naravo, kjer se svojim preteklim dejanjem primerno znajdejo v različnih položajih. Tako se začne njihovo delovanje v materialnem svetu. Vse vrste živih bitij začnejo delovati ob samem stvarjenju materialnega sveta. Nobena oblika življenja ne nastane s procesom evolucije. Različne življenjske vrste so ustvarjene skupaj z univerzumom. Ljudje, zveri, ptice itd. so ustvarjeni istočasno, kajti živa bitja dobijo telesa skladno z željami, ki so jih imela ob zadnjem uničenju vesolja. Iz besede avaśam je jasno, da sama živa bitja nimajo s tem nič opraviti, temveč se le znova pojavijo v stanju, v katerem so bila v svojem prejšnjem življenju, pred zadnjim uničenjem vesolja. Vse to se zgodi po Gospodovi volji. To je nedoumljiva moč Vsevišnje Božanske Osebnosti. Potem ko Gospod ustvari različne življenjske vrste, ni več povezan z njimi. Do stvarjenja materialnega sveta pride zato, da bi živa bitja lahko zadovoljila svoje želje, in Gospod se v to ne vmešava.
