Translation
Tradução
Although Kṛṣṇa was their beloved, and although they had abandoned all other objects of desire for His sake, He had been speaking to them unfavorably. Nonetheless, they remained unflinching in their attachment to Him. Stopping their crying, they wiped their eyes and began to speak, their voices stammering with agitation.
Embora Kṛṣṇa fosse seu amado, e embora elas tivessem abandonado todos os outros objetos desejáveis por causa dEle, Ele falara com elas de modo desfavorável. Entretanto, elas permaneceram inabaláveis em seu apego por Ele. Parando de chorar, enxugaram os olhos e começaram a falar. Elas gaguejavam devido à perturbação.

Comentário
The gopīs now replied to Śrī Kṛṣṇa, their voices choking up with anger caused by their intense love for Him and their unwillingness to give Him up. They would not allow Him to reject them.
SIGNIFICADO—As gopīs agora responderam a Śrī Kṛṣṇa, com vozes sufocadas de ira proveniente de seu intenso amor por Ele e de sua falta de vontade de abandoná-lO. Elas não permitiriam que Ele as rejeitasse.
