When Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna were talking as friends, there was no conclusion. Therefore Arjuna decided to accept Kṛṣṇa as his guru.

Arjuna represents the perplexed materialistic person who surrenders to a guru. And to set the example Arjuna decided on Kṛṣṇa as his guru. He did not go to anyone else. So the real guru is Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is guru not only for Arjuna but for everyone. The mission of the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is to get everyone to accept Kṛṣṇa as guru. We don’t say, “I am Kṛṣṇa.” We never say that.

So mother Yaśodā has become more than God, more than Kṛṣṇa. impersonalistic] philosophers want to become one with the Lord, but our philosophy is to become more than Kṛṣṇa Why one with Kṛṣṇa? That spiritual knowledge was imparted by Kṛṣṇa to Arjuna in the beginning of the Bhagavad-gītā. Being a friend of Kṛṣṇa’s, Arjuna was a very intelligent man, but his knowledge, as all men’s, was limited Kṛṣṇa spoke, however, of subject matters which were beyond Arjuna’s finite knowledge.

Our Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is being spread so that you do not forget your cultural life. Nor did Kṛṣṇa say that. Kṛṣṇa never said, “Arjuna, give up your fighting business.” No, He said, “Arjuna, you are a kṣatriya.

Society for Krishna Consciousness we are actually practicing perfect communism by doing everything for Kṛṣṇa We know Kṛṣṇa is the supreme enjoyer of the result of all work (bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasām). in Him, just as Arjuna was perfectly confident in Kṛṣṇa on the Battlefield of Kurukṣetra.
