“ ‘Krama’ also means ‘power,’ ‘trembling,’ ‘a systematic method,’ ‘argument’ and ‘a forcible attack by stepping forward.’ Thus Vāmana caused the three worlds to tremble.

«“Krama” significa también “poder”, “temblor”, “método sistemático”, “argumento” y “ataque violento que se hace dando un paso adelante”. Fue así como Vāmana hizo temblar los tres mundos.

Purport

Significado

Uru means “very great,” and krama means “step.” When Lord Vāmanadeva was offered three steps of land, He expanded His three steps by covering the entire universe. In this way the three worlds trembled, and therefore Śrī Vāmanadeva, the incarnation of Lord Viṣṇu, is referred to as Urukrama.

Uru significa «muy grande», y krama significa «paso». Cuando le fueron ofrecidos tres pasos de tierra, el Señor Vāmanadeva extendió Sus tres pasos hasta cubrir todo el universo. De ese modo, los tres mundos temblaron. Por esa razón, Śrī Vāmanadeva, la encarnación del Señor Viṣṇu, recibe el nombre de Urukrama.
