Tradução
It is sometimes argued that the sons of King Sagara were burned to ashes by the fire emanating from the eyes of Kapila Muni. This statement, however, is not approved by great learned persons, for Kapila Muni’s body is completely in the mode of goodness and therefore cannot manifest the mode of ignorance in the form of anger, just as the pure sky cannot be polluted by the dust of the earth.
Às vezes, argumenta-se que os filhos do rei Sagara foram reduzidos a cinzas pelo fogo que emanou dos olhos de Kapila Muni. Essa afirmação, entretanto, não é aceita por grandiosas pessoas eruditas, pois o corpo de Kapila Muni está completamente no modo da bondade e, portanto, não poderia ficar no modo da ignorância e manifestar ira, assim como o céu puro não pode ser poluído pela poeira da terra.
