Traducción
Being very thoughtful, a vānaprastha should remain in the forest for twelve years, eight years, four years, two years or at least one year. He should behave in such a way that he will not be disturbed or troubled by too much austerity.
Con una actitud muy introspectiva, el vānaprastha debe permanecer en el bosque por un período de doce, ocho, cuatro, dos, o, como mínimo, un año. Debe comportarse de tal manera que no se vea perturbado o afectado por el exceso de austeridad.
