[Lord Mahā-Viṣṇu said:] I brought the brāhmaṇa’s sons here because I wanted to see the two of you, My expansions, who have descended to the earth to save the principles of religion. As soon as you finish killing the demons who burden the earth, quickly come back here to Me.
[O Senhor Mahā-Viṣṇu disse:] Eu trouxe os filhos do brāhmaṇa para cá porque queria ver a vós dois, Minhas expansões, que desceram à Terra para salvar os princípios da religião. Logo que acabardes de matar os demônios que sobrecarregam a Terra, regressai depressa para Mim.

Comentário
As explained by Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī, the secret import of these words spoken for Arjuna’s edification is as follows: “You two, who have descended along with your kalās, your personal energies, should kindly return to Me after killing the demons who burden the earth. Please quickly send these demons here to Me for the sake of their liberation.” It is stated in Śrī Hari-vaṁśa and in the Second Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam that the path of gradual liberation passes through the intermediate station of Lord Mahā-Viṣṇu’s abode, outside the eighth shell of the universe.
SIGNIFICADO—Conforme explicou Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī, o sentido secreto destas palavras faladas para a edificação de Arjuna é o seguinte: “Vós dois, que descestes juntamente com vossas kalās, vossas energias pessoais, deveis, por favor, regressar a Mim depois de matar os demônios que sobrecarregam a Terra. Por favor, mandai logo esses demônios aqui para Mim para que eles se liberem.” Afirma-se no Śrī Hari-vaṁśa e no segundo canto do Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam que o caminho da liberação gradual passa pela estação intermediária da morada do Senhor Mahā-Viṣṇu, que fica além da oitava cobertura do universo.
