кр̣та-стха̄на-вибха̄га̄с та
эвам̇ каш́йапа-нандана̄х̣
мамантхух̣ парамам̇ йатта̄
амр̣та̄ртхам̇ пайо-нидхим
kṛta-sthāna-vibhāgās ta
evaṁ kaśyapa-nandanāḥ
mamanthuḥ paramaṁ yattā
amṛtārthaṁ payo-nidhim

Translation

Решив наконец, кому как держать змея, сыновья Кашьяпы — полубоги и демоны — принялись пахтать Молочный океан, чтобы получить из него нектар.

After thus adjusting how the snake was to be held, the sons of Kaśyapa, both demigods and demons, began their activities, desiring to get nectar by churning the Ocean of Milk.
