Translation

Zoals een lamp op een windstille plaats niet flakkert, zo blijft de transcendentalist die zijn geest beheerst altijd evenwichtig in zijn meditatie op het transcendente Zelf.

As a lamp in a windless place does not waver, so the transcendentalist, whose mind is controlled, remains always steady in his meditation on the transcendent Self.

Purport

Een werkelijk Kṛṣṇa-bewust persoon, die voortdurend opgaat in het transcendentale en die altijd onverstoorbaar mediteert op de Heer, die hij aanbidt, is net zo evenwichtig als een lamp op een windstille plek.

A truly Kṛṣṇa conscious person, always absorbed in transcendence, in constant undisturbed meditation on his worshipable Lord, is as steady as a lamp in a windless place.
