Translation
Dat wat in het begin vergif lijkt, maar uiteindelijk net als nectar is en waardoor men zich bewust wordt van zelfrealisatie, wordt geluk in de hoedanigheid goedheid genoemd.
That which in the beginning may be just like poison but at the end is just like nectar and which awakens one to self-realization is said to be happiness in the mode of goodness.

In het streven naar zelfrealisatie moet men veel regels en bepalingen naleven om de geest en de zintuigen te beheersen en om de geest op het zelf te concentreren. Al deze procedures zijn heel moeilijk, bitter als vergif, maar als men erin slaagt zich aan de regels te houden en het transcendentale niveau te bereiken, dan begint men de ware nectar te proeven en van het leven te genieten.
In the pursuit of self-realization, one has to follow many rules and regulations to control the mind and the senses and to concentrate the mind on the self. All these procedures are very difficult, bitter like poison, but if one is successful in following the regulations and comes to the transcendental position, he begins to drink real nectar, and he enjoys life.
