Translation
O Arjuna, aanschouw in īīn oogopslag alles wat je wilt zien in dit lichaam van Mij! Deze kosmische gedaante kan je alles laten zien wat je nu en in de toekomst ook maar verlangt te zien. Alles — zowel het bewegende als het niet-bewegende — is hier volledig aanwezig, op īīn plaats.
O Arjuna, whatever you wish to see, behold at once in this body of Mine! This universal form can show you whatever you now desire to see and whatever you may want to see in the future. Everything – moving and nonmoving – is here completely, in one place.

Niemand kan zittend op īīn plaats het hele universum zien. Zelfs de meest gevorderde wetenschapper kan niet zien wat er in andere delen van het universum gebeurt. Maar een toegewijde als Arjuna kan alles zien wat er in elk deel van het universum bestaat. Kṛṣṇa geeft hem het vermogen alles te zien wat hij wil, verleden, heden en toekomst. Op die manier is Arjuna, door de genade van Kṛṣṇa, in staat alles te zien.
No one can see the entire universe while sitting in one place. Even the most advanced scientist cannot see what is going on in other parts of the universe. But a devotee like Arjuna can see everything that exists in any part of the universe. Kṛṣṇa gives him the power to see anything he wants to see, past, present and future. Thus by the mercy of Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna is able to see everything.
