Chapter Nine

A legbizalmasabb tudás

The Most Confidential Knowledge

1. VERS:
Az Istenség Legfelsőbb Személyisége így szólt: Kedves Arjunám, mivel te sohasem irigykedsz Rám, átadom neked e legtitkosabb tudást és bölcsességet, melyet megismerve megszabadulsz az anyagi lét gyötrelmeitől.
TEXT 1:
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Arjuna, because you are never envious of Me, I shall impart to you this most confidential knowledge and realization, knowing which you shall be relieved of the miseries of material existence.
2. VERS:
Ez a tudás a bölcsesség királya, a legnagyobb titok az összes titok közül. Ez a legtisztább tudás, és mivel megvalósítása révén közvetlen tapasztalatot nyújt az önvalóról, ez a vallás tökéletessége; örökkévaló és örömmel végezhető.
TEXT 2:
This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed.
3. VERS:
Ó, ellenség legyőzője! Akiknek nincs hitük az odaadó szolgálatban, azok nem érhetnek el Engem, hanem visszatérnek az anyagi világbeli születés és halál ösvényére.
TEXT 3:
Those who are not faithful in this devotional service cannot attain Me, O conqueror of enemies. Therefore they return to the path of birth and death in this material world.
4. VERS:
Megnyilvánulatlan formámban ezt az egész univerzumot áthatom. Minden lény Bennem van, de Én nem vagyok bennük.
TEXT 4:
By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them.
5. VERS:
És mégsem nyugszik Bennem minden teremtett. Íme misztikus hatalmam! Habár Én vagyok az összes élőlény fenntartója, s jelen vagyok mindenhol, Én magam mégsem vagyok része e kozmikus megnyilvánulásnak, mert Én vagyok a teremtés eredeti forrása.
TEXT 5:
And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me. Behold My mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities and although I am everywhere, I am not a part of this cosmic manifestation, for My Self is the very source of creation.
6. VERS:
Tudd meg, hogy minden teremtett lény úgy nyugszik Bennem, miként a mindenhol fújó erős szél nyugszik állandóan az űrben.
TEXT 6:
Understand that as the mighty wind, blowing everywhere, rests always in the sky, all created beings rest in Me.
7. VERS:
Ó, Kuntī fia, a korszak végével minden anyagi megnyilvánulás visszatér az Én természetembe, de a következő korszak hajnalán újra megteremtem őket energiám által.
TEXT 7:
O son of Kuntī, at the end of the millennium all material manifestations enter into My nature, and at the beginning of another millennium, by My potency, I create them again.
8. VERS:
A teljes kozmikus megnyilvánulás Nekem van alárendelve. Akaratomból újra meg újra megnyilvánul, s végül akaratomból semmisül meg.
TEXT 8:
The whole cosmic order is under Me. Under My will it is automatically manifested again and again, and under My will it is annihilated at the end.
9. VERS:
Ó, Dhanañjaya, ezek a tettek nem köthetnek meg Engem. Mindig kívül állok mindezen anyagi tetteken, mintha semleges lenne helyzetem.
TEXT 9:
O Dhanañjaya, all this work cannot bind Me. I am ever detached from all these material activities, seated as though neutral.
10. VERS:
Ó, Kuntī fia! Ez az anyagi természet, ami egyike energiáimnak, az Én irányításom alatt működik, létrehozva a mozgó és mozdulatlan lények mindegyikét. Az anyagi természet törvénye alapján újra és újra megteremtődik és megsemmisül ez a megnyilvánulás.
TEXT 10:
This material nature, which is one of My energies, is working under My direction, O son of Kuntī, producing all moving and nonmoving beings. Under its rule this manifestation is created and annihilated again and again.
11. VERS:
Az ostobák kigúnyolnak, mikor alászállok emberi alakomban. Nem ismerik transzcendentális természetem, s nem tudják, hogy mindenek Legfelsőbb Ura vagyok.
TEXT 11:
Fools deride Me when I descend in the human form. They do not know My transcendental nature as the Supreme Lord of all that be.
12. VERS:
Ezek a megzavarodott emberek a démoni és ateista nézetekhez vonzódnak. Ebben az illuzórikus állapotban a felszabaduláshoz, a gyümölcsöző tettekhez és a tudomány műveléséhez fűzött összes reményük meghiúsul.
TEXT 12:
Those who are thus bewildered are attracted by demonic and atheistic views. In that deluded condition, their hopes for liberation, their fruitive activities, and their culture of knowledge are all defeated.
13. VERS:
Ó, Pṛthā fia, a nagy lelkek, akik nincsenek illúzióban, az isteni természet védelme alatt állnak. Teljesen elmerülnek az odaadó szolgálatban, mert az Istenség Legfelsőbb Személyiségeként, eredetinek és kimeríthetetlennek ismernek Engem.
TEXT 13:
O son of Pṛthā, those who are not deluded, the great souls, are under the protection of the divine nature. They are fully engaged in devotional service because they know Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, original and inexhaustible.
14. VERS:
Ezek a nagy lelkek állandóan az Én dicsőségemet zengik, nagy elszántsággal igyekeznek, s leborulva Előttem szüntelenül odaadóan imádnak Engem.
TEXT 14:
Always chanting My glories, endeavoring with great determination, bowing down before Me, these great souls perpetually worship Me with devotion.
15. VERS:
Mások, akik a tudás művelésével hajtanak végre áldozatot, a Legfelsőbb Urat mint az egyetlent, a sokban jelenlévőt és a kozmikus formát imádják.
TEXT 15:
Others, who engage in sacrifice by the cultivation of knowledge, worship the Supreme Lord as the one without a second, as diverse in many, and in the universal form.
16. VERS:
Ám Én vagyok a szertartás, az áldozat, az ősatyáknak szóló felajánlás, a gyógyító fű és a transzcendentális mantra. Én vagyok a vaj, a tűz és a felajánlás is.
TEXT 16:
But it is I who am the ritual, I the sacrifice, the offering to the ancestors, the healing herb, the transcendental chant. I am the butter and the fire and the offering.
17. VERS:
Én vagyok az univerzum atyja, az anya, a fenntartó és az ősatya. Én vagyok a tudás tárgya, Én vagyok az, ami megtisztít, és Én vagyok az oṁ szótag. A Ṛg-, a Sāma- és a Yajur-veda szintén Én vagyok.
TEXT 17:
I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.
18. VERS:
Én vagyok a cél, az ellátó, az Úr, a tanú, a hajlék, a menedék és a legkedvesebb barát. Én vagyok a teremtés és a megsemmisülés, mindennek az alapja, a nyugvóhely és az örök mag.
TEXT 18:
I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed.
19. VERS:
Ó, Arjuna! Én adom a hőt, s Én tartom vissza vagy küldöm az esőt. Én vagyok a halhatatlanság és a halál megszemélyesítője is. Lélek és anyag egyaránt Bennem van.
TEXT 19:
O Arjuna, I give heat, and I withhold and send forth the rain. I am immortality, and I am also death personified. Both spirit and matter are in Me.
20. VERS:
Akik a mennyei bolygókra vágyva a Védákat tanulmányozzák, és a soma italt fogyasztják, azok közvetve imádnak Engem. Ők a bűnös visszahatásoktól megtisztulva Indra jámbor, mennyei bolygóján fognak megszületni, hogy isteni élvezetekben legyen részük.
TEXT 20:
Those who study the Vedas and drink the soma juice, seeking the heavenly planets, worship Me indirectly. Purified of sinful reactions, they take birth on the pious, heavenly planet of Indra, where they enjoy godly delights.
21. VERS:
A mennyei érzéki örömök korlátlan élvezete után, amikor jámbor tetteik eredményei elfogynak, ismét visszatérnek a halandók bolygójára. Így akik a Védák törvényeit követve keresik az érzékkielégítést, azokra csak ismétlődő születés és halál vár.
TEXT 21:
When they have thus enjoyed vast heavenly sense pleasure and the results of their pious activities are exhausted, they return to this mortal planet again. Thus those who seek sense enjoyment by adhering to the principles of the three Vedas achieve only repeated birth and death.
22. VERS:
De akik kizárólagos odaadással mindig Engem imádnak, transzcendentális formámon meditálva, azoknak elhozom, amire szükségük van, s megőrzöm, amijük van.
TEXT 22:
But those who always worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental form – to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have.
23. VERS:
Ó, Kuntī fia! Akik más istenek hívei, s őket imádják nagy hittel, azok valójában egyedül Engem imádnak, ám a rossz úton járnak.
TEXT 23:
Those who are devotees of other gods and who worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O son of Kuntī, but they do so in a wrong way.
24. VERS:
Én vagyok minden áldozat egyetlen élvezője és Ura. Akik nem ismerik fel igazi, transzcendentális természetemet, elbuknak.
TEXT 24:
I am the only enjoyer and master of all sacrifices. Therefore, those who do not recognize My true transcendental nature fall down.
25. VERS:
A félisteneket imádók a félistenek között fognak újraszületni, az ősatyák imádói az ősatyákhoz jutnak; akik a szellemeket és kísérteteket imádják, azok közéjük születnek, s akik Engem imádnak, azok Velem fognak élni.
TEXT 25:
Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship the ancestors go to the ancestors; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; and those who worship Me will live with Me.
26. VERS:
Ha valaki szeretettel és odaadással áldoz Nekem egy levelet, egy virágot, egy gyümölcsöt vagy egy kevés vizet, Én elfogadom azt.
TEXT 26:
If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it.
27. VERS:
Ó, Kuntī fia, ajánld fel Nekem mindazt, amit cselekszel, eszel, felajánlasz vagy elajándékozol, valamennyi lemondásoddal együtt!
TEXT 27:
Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform – do that, O son of Kuntī, as an offering to Me.
28. VERS:
Ily módon megszabadulsz a tettekhez fűző kötelékektől, s annak kedvező és kedvezőtlen eredményeitől. A lemondás ezen elvével elmédet Rám szögezve felszabadulsz, s eljutsz Hozzám.
TEXT 28:
In this way you will be freed from bondage to work and its auspicious and inauspicious results. With your mind fixed on Me in this principle of renunciation, you will be liberated and come to Me.
29. VERS:
Én senkire sem irigykedem, és olyan sincs, akivel szemben elfogult lennék – mindenkivel egyenlően bánok. De aki odaadással szolgál Engem, az a barátom, Bennem van, s Én is a barátja vagyok.
TEXT 29:
I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all. But whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend, is in Me, and I am also a friend to him.
30. VERS:
Még ha valaki a legszörnyűbb tettet követi is el, ha odaadó szolgálatot végez, szentnek kell tekinteni, mert eltökéltsége a helyes irányba vezeti.
TEXT 30:
Even if one commits the most abominable action, if he is engaged in devotional service he is to be considered saintly because he is properly situated in his determination.
31. VERS:
Hamarosan tisztességessé válik és maradandó békét ér el. Ó, Kuntī fia, hirdesd bátran: az Én hívem nem vész el soha!
TEXT 31:
He quickly becomes righteous and attains lasting peace. O son of Kuntī, declare it boldly that My devotee never perishes.
32. VERS:
Ó, Pṛthā fia! Aki Nálam keres menedéket, az még ha alacsony sorban született is – nő, vaiśya [kereskedő] vagy śūdra [munkás] –, elérheti a legfelsőbb célt.
TEXT 32:
O son of Pṛthā, those who take shelter in Me, though they be of lower birth – women, vaiśyas [merchants] and śūdras [workers] – can attain the supreme destination.
33. VERS:
S mennyivel inkább igaz ez a jámbor brāhmaṇák, a bhakták és a szent királyok esetében! Ezért hát, miután ebbe az ideiglenes és nyomorúságos világba kerültél, szolgálj Engem szeretettel!
TEXT 33:
How much more this is so of the righteous brāhmaṇas, the devotees and the saintly kings. Therefore, having come to this temporary, miserable world, engage in loving service unto Me.
34. VERS:
Gondolj mindig Rám, légy a bhaktám, ajánld hódolatodat Nekem, és imádj Engem! Ha teljesen elmerülsz Bennem, biztosan eljutsz Hozzám.
TEXT 34:
Engage your mind always in thinking of Me, become My devotee, offer obeisances to Me and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me.
