Traducción

Translation

Después, cuando el sabio rey regresó a su palacio, Devayānī volvió a su casa llorando y le contó a su padre, Śukrācārya, todo lo que había ocurrido por culpa de Śarmiṣṭhā. Le contó que Śarmiṣṭhā la había tirado al pozo y que el rey la había salvado.

Thereafter, when the learned King returned to his palace, Devayānī returned home crying and told her father, Śukrācārya, about all that had happened because of Śarmiṣṭhā. She told how she had been thrown into the well but was saved by the King.
