Translation

Cuando supo que madre Sītā había entrado en la tierra, la Suprema Personalidad de Dios Se sintió muy afligido. Pese a ser la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, al recordar las excelsas cualidades de madre Sītā, no podía contener el dolor que sentía debido al amor trascendental.

After hearing the news of mother Sītā’s entering the earth, the Supreme Personality of Godhead was certainly aggrieved. Although He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, upon remembering the exalted qualities of mother Sītā, He could not check His grief in transcendental love.

Purport

La pena que el Señor Rāmacandra sintió cuando supo que Sītādevī había entrado en la tierra no debe considerarse material. En el mundo espiritual también existen sentimientos de separación, pero se los considera otra forma de bienaventuranza espiritual. La pena de la separación se da incluso en el Absoluto, pero en el mundo espiritual esos sentimientos de separación son trascendentales y bienaventurados. Son un signo de tasya prema-vaśyatva-svabhāva, es decir, de hallarse bajo la influencia de hlādinī-śakti y estar bajo el dominio del amor. Los sentimientos de separación que se experimentan en el mundo material son un simple reflejo desvirtuado.

Lord Rāmacandra’s grief at the news of Sītādevī’s entering the earth is not to be considered material. In the spiritual world also there are feelings of separation, but such feelings are considered spiritual bliss. Grief in separation exists even in the Absolute, but such feelings of separation in the spiritual world are transcendentally blissful. Such feelings are a sign of tasya prema-vaśyatva-svabhāva, being under the influence of hlādinī-śakti and being controlled by love. In the material world such feelings of separation are only a perverted reflection.
