Translation
La trascendental Persona Suprema, la Superalma de todas las entidades vivientes, que se hallan en condiciones de vida más o menos elevadas, existía al final del milenio, cuando no existían ni el cosmos manifestado ni nada que no fuera Él.
The transcendental Supreme Person, the Supersoul of all living entities, who are in different statuses of life, high and low, existed at the end of the millennium, when neither this manifested cosmos nor anything else but Him existed.

Partiendo de la posición más adecuada para hablar de la dinastía de Manu, Śukadeva Gosvāmī comienza por decir que, cuando el mundo entero queda cubierto por la inundación, solo existe la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, y nada más que Él. Taking the proper position from which to describe the dynasty of Manu, Śukadeva Gosvāmī begins by saying that when the entire world is inundated, only the Supreme Personality of Godhead exists, and nothing else. Śukadeva Gosvāmī will now describe how the Lord creates other things, one after another.
