tvam ādir anto bhuvanasya madhyam
ananta-śaktiṁ puruṣaṁ yam āhuḥ
kālo bhavān ākṣipatīśa viśvaṁ
sroto yathāntaḥ patitaṁ gabhīram

Translation

¡Oh, mi Señor!, Tú eres el comienzo, la manifestación y la disolución final de los tres mundos. Los Vedas Te glorifican por ser el receptáculo de ilimitadas potencias, la Persona Suprema. ¡Oh, mi Señor!, del mismo modo que las olas atraen las ramas y las hojas caídas en la profundidad de las aguas, Tú, el factor tiempo eterno y supremo, atraes todo lo que existe en el universo.

O my Lord, You are the beginning, the manifestation and the ultimate dissolution of the three worlds, and You are celebrated in the Vedas as the reservoir of unlimited potencies, the Supreme Person. O my Lord, as waves attract branches and leaves that have fallen into deep water, You, the supreme eternal time factor, attract everything in this universe.

Purport

El factor tiempo se describe a veces con la expresión kāla-strota, las olas del tiempo. Todo lo que existe en el mundo material se halla bajo la influencia del factor tiempo y es arrastrado por las olas de la atracción, que representan a la Suprema Personalidad de Dios.

The time factor is sometimes described as kāla-srota, waves of time. Everything in this material world is within the time factor and is being carried away by waves of attraction, which represent the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
