Traducción

Translation

Debido a las rigurosas austeridades, la cabeza de Hiraṇyakaśipu despedía fuego; ese fuego y su humo se extendieron por el cielo, envolviendo los planetas superiores e inferiores en un calor insoportable.

Because of Hiraṇyakaśipu’s severe austerities, fire came from his head, and this fire and its smoke spread throughout the sky, encompassing the upper and lower planets, which all became extremely hot.
