āha cedaṁ ruṣā pūrṇaḥ
sandaṣṭa-daśana-cchadaḥ

Traducción

Translation

Mordiéndose los labios de rabia, Hiraṇyakaśipu miró al cielo. La ira de sus ojos era tan ardiente, que llenó todo el cielo de humo. Entonces comenzó a hablar.

Filled with rage and biting his lips, Hiraṇyakaśipu gazed at the sky with eyes that blazed in anger, making the whole sky smoky. Thus he began to speak.

Significado

Purport

Como suele suceder, el demonio siente envidia de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios y se muestra hostil con Él. Este verso describe el aspecto de Hiraṇyakaśipu mientras meditaba en la forma de matar al Señor Viṣṇu y destruir Su reino, Vaikuṇṭhaloka.

As usual, the demon is envious of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and inimical toward Him. These were Hiraṇyakaśipu’s external bodily features as he considered how to kill Lord Viṣṇu and devastate His kingdom, Vaikuṇṭhaloka.
