prahrādo ’pi tathā cakre
pitur yat sāmparāyikam
yathāha bhagavān rājann

Translation

Śrī Nārada Muni continuó: Así, cumpliendo la orden de la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, Prahlāda Mahārāja celebró las ceremonias rituales por su padre. Después, ¡oh, rey Yudhiṣṭhira!, ascendió al trono del reino de Hiraṇyakaśipu, conforme a las indicaciones de los brāhmaṇas.

Śrī Nārada Muni continued: Thus, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead ordered, Prahlāda Mahārāja performed the ritualistic ceremonies for his father. O King Yudhiṣṭhira, he was then enthroned in the kingdom of Hiraṇyakaśipu, as directed by the brāhmaṇas.

Es esencial que la sociedad se divida en cuatro grupos: brāhmaṇas, kṣatriyas, vaiśyas, yśūdras. En este verso vemos que Prahlāda, a pesar de ser perfecto desde todos los puntos de vista, siguió las instrucciones de los brāhmaṇas que celebraron los rituales védicos. Por lo tanto, en la sociedad tiene que haber una clase de líderes muy inteligentes y bien versados en el conocimiento védico, que puedan guiar a toda la población en el seguimiento de los principios védicos. De ese modo, los hombres se elevarán paso a paso hasta el estado de máxima perfección y se capacitarán para regresar al hogar, de vuelta a Dios.

It is essential that society be divided into four groups of men — brāhmaṇas, kṣatriyas, vaiśyas and śūdras. Here we see that although Prahlāda was perfect in every respect, he nonetheless followed the instructions of the brāhmaṇas who performed the Vedic rituals. Therefore in society there must be a very intelligent class of leaders who are well versed in the Vedic knowledge so that they can guide the entire populace to follow the Vedic principles and thus gradually become most perfect and eligible to return home, back to Godhead.
