proktau punar janmabhir vāṁ
tribhir lokāya kalpatām

Traducción

Translation

Después de recibir la maldición de los sabios, y mientras caían hacia el mundo material, Jaya y Vijaya escucharon las siguientes palabras de los sabios, que se mostraron muy bondadosos con ellos: «¡Oh, porteros!, después de tres vidas pueden recuperar su posición en Vaikuṇṭha, ya que entonces habrán acabado los efectos de la maldición».

While Jaya and Vijaya, thus cursed by the sages, were falling to the material world, they were addressed as follows by the same sages, who were very kind to them. “O doorkeepers, after three births you will be able to return to your positions in Vaikuṇṭha, for then the duration of the curse will have ended.”
