tad idaṁ mama daurjanyaṁ
bāliśasya mahīyasi
kṣantum arhasi mātas tvaṁ
diṣṭyā garbho mṛtotthitaḥ

Traducción

Translation

¡Oh, querida madre!, ¡oh, la mejor de todas las mujeres!, soy un necio. Por favor, perdóname por todas las ofensas que he cometido. Por tu servicio devocional, tus cuarenta y nueve hijos han nacido sin sufrir el menor daño. Actuando como enemigo tuyo, los corté en pedazos, pero, debido a tu gran servicio devocional, no murieron.

O my mother, O best of all women, I am a fool. Kindly excuse me for whatever offenses I have committed. Your forty-nine sons have been born unhurt because of your devotional service. As an enemy, I cut them to pieces, but because of your great devotional service they did not die.
