Translation
Mi querido rey, la persona que se apodera de la esposa legítima, los hijos o el dinero de otro, es arrestada en el momento de la muerte por los crueles yamadūtas, quienes la atan con la cuerda del tiempo y la arrastran por la fuerza hasta el planeta infernal llamado Tāmisra. En las profundas tinieblas de ese planeta, los yamadūtas castigan al pecador con golpes e insultos; le hacen pasar hambre, y no le dan nada de beber. De ese modo, los iracundos sirvientes de Yamarāja le causan unos sufrimientos tan intensos que a veces se desmaya debido al castigo.
My dear King, a person who appropriates another’s legitimate wife, children or money is arrested at the time of death by the fierce Yamadūtas, who bind him with the rope of time and forcibly throw him into the hellish planet known as Tāmisra. On this very dark planet, the sinful man is chastised by the Yamadūtas, who beat and rebuke him. He is starved, and he is given no water to drink. Thus the wrathful assistants of Yamarāja cause him severe suffering, and sometimes he faints from their chastisement.
