gītaṁ mayedaṁ naradeva-nandanāḥ
parasya puṁsaḥ paramātmanaḥ stavam
japanta ekāgra-dhiyas tapo mahat
caradhvam ante tata āpsyathepsitam

Translation

Mis queridos hijos del rey, las oraciones que les he recitado van dirigidas a complacer a la Suprema Personalidad de Dios, la Superalma. Les aconsejo que recen esas oraciones, pues producen el mismo efecto que las grandes austeridades. De esa forma, cuando alcancen la madurez, lograrán el éxito en la vida, y ciertamente, sin la menor duda, todos los objetivos que se hayan propuesto.

My dear sons of the King, the prayers I have recited to you are meant for pleasing the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Supersoul. I advise you to recite these prayers, which are as effective as great austerities. In this way, when you are mature, your life will be successful, and you will certainly achieve all your desired objectives without fail.

Si persistimos en la práctica constante del servicio devocional, con el paso del tiempo veremos satisfechos todos nuestros deseos.

If we persistently engage in devotional service, certainly all our desires will be fulfilled in due course of time.
