Translation
Vidura preguntó al gran sabio Maitreya: Mi querido brāhmaṇa, nuestra madre Tierra puede aparecer con distintas formas; ¿por qué adoptó esta vez la forma de una vaca?; ¿quién fue el ternero, y cuál el recipiente en que se recogía la leche que ordeñaba el rey Pṛthu?
Vidura inquired from the great sage Maitreya: My dear brāhmaṇa, since mother earth can appear in different shapes, why did she take the shape of a cow? And when King Pṛthu milked her, who became the calf, and what was the milking pot?
