Traducción

Translation

Los cuatro Kumāras, encabezados por Sanat-kumāra, todos los cuales conocían los pasatiempos trascendentales del Señor, glorificaron al Señor de una manera rítmica, con palabras selectas llenas de afecto y amor. En esos momentos, Śrī Saṅkarṣaṇa, con Sus miles de cuellos erguidos, comenzó a irradiar una refulgencia a través de las destellantes piedras de Sus cabezas.

The four Kumāras, headed by Sanat-kumāra, who all knew the transcendental pastimes of the Lord, glorified the Lord in rhythmic accents with selected words full of affection and love. At that time Lord Saṅkarṣaṇa, with His thousands of raised hoods, began to radiate an effulgence from the glowing stones on His head.

Purport

Al Señor, a veces, se Le da el nombre de Uttamaśloka, que significa: «aquel a quien los devotos adoran con palabras selectas». Una profusión de esa clase de palabras selectas surge de un devoto que está plenamente absorto en el afecto y el amor por el servicio devocional del Señor. Hay muchos casos en los que incluso un niño pequeño que era un gran devoto del Señor pudo ofrecer excelentes oraciones en glorificación de los pasatiempos del Señor, con palabras sumamente selectas. Es decir, sin el desarrollo de un fino afecto y amor, uno no puede ofrecer oraciones al Señor muy adecuadamente.

The Lord is sometimes addressed as uttamaśloka, which means “one who is worshiped with selected words by devotees.” A profusion of such selected words comes from a devotee who is fully absorbed in affection and love for the devotional service of the Lord. There are many instances in which even a small boy who was a great devotee of the Lord could offer excellent prayers in the choicest words for glorification of the pastimes of the Lord. In other words, without the development of fine affection and love, one cannot offer prayers to the Lord very suitably.
