Translation
En ese entonces, cuando los tres mundos estaban sumergidos en el agua, Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu estaba solo, yaciendo en Su lecho, la gran serpiente Ananta, y aunque parecía estar dormitando en Su propia potencia interna, libre de la acción de la energía externa, Sus ojos no estaban completamente cerrados.
At that time when the three worlds were submerged in water, Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu was alone, lying on His bedstead, the great snake Ananta, and although He appeared to be in slumber in His own internal potency, free from the action of the external energy, His eyes were not completely closed.

Purport
El Señor está disfrutando eternamente de bienaventuranza trascendental mediante Su potencia interna, mientras que la potencia externa queda suspendida durante el período de la disolución de la manifestación cósmica.
The Lord is eternally enjoying transcendental bliss by His internal potency, whereas the external potency is suspended during the time of the dissolution of the cosmic manifestation.
