evaṁ tadaiva bhagavān aravinda-nābhaḥ
svānāṁ vibudhya sad-atikramam ārya-hṛdyaḥ
tasmin yayau paramahaṁsa-mahā-munīnām
anveṣaṇīya-caraṇau calayan saha-śrīḥ

Traducción

Translation

En aquel mismo instante, el Señor, que hace las delicias de los justos, y que es llamado Padmanābha por el loto que crece de Su ombligo, supo del insulto que Sus propios sirvientes habían inferido a los santos. En compañía de Su esposa, la diosa de la fortuna, fue a aquel lugar, caminando sobre aquellos mismos pies que buscan anacoretas y grandes sabios.

At that very moment, the Lord, who is called Padmanābha because of the lotus grown from His navel and who is the delight of the righteous, learned about the insult offered by His own servants to the saints. Accompanied by His spouse, the goddess of fortune, He went to the spot on those very feet sought for by recluses and great sages.

Significado

Purport

En el Bhagavad-gītā el Señor declara que Sus devotos no pueden ser vencidos en ninguna ocasión. El Señor pudo entender que la riña entre los porteros y los sabios estaba tomando un cariz diferente, y por eso, al instante, salió de Sus habitaciones, y Se dirigió al lugar para impedir que el suceso fuese a más, de manera que Sus devotos, los porteros, no pudiesen ser vencidos definitivamente.

In Bhagavad-gītā the Lord declares that His devotees cannot be vanquished at any time. The Lord could understand that the quarrel between the doormen and the sages was taking a different turn, and therefore He instantly came out of His place and went to the spot to stop further aggravation so that His devotees, the doormen, might not be vanquished for good.
