evaṁ yukta-kṛtas tasya
daivaṁ cāvekṣatas tadā
kasya rūpam abhūd dvedhā
yat kāyam abhicakṣate
evaṁ yukta-kṛtas tasya

Translation

Mientras estaba absorto de este modo en la contemplación y observando el poder sobrenatural, de su cuerpo se generaron otras dos formas. Aún son famosas como el cuerpo de Brahmā.

While he was thus absorbed in contemplation and was observing the supernatural power, two other forms were generated from his body. They are still celebrated as the body of Brahmā.

Significado

Purport

Del cuerpo de Brahmā salieron dos cuerpos. Uno tenía bigote; y el otro, pechos abultados. Nadie puede explicar el origen de su manifestación, y por tanto se las conoce hasta hoy en día como el kāyam, el cuerpo de Brahmā, sin que se indique su relación como hijo o hija.

Two bodies came out from the body of Brahmā. One had a mustache, and the other had swollen breasts. No one can explain the source of their manifestation, and therefore until today they are known as the kāyam, or the body of Brahmā, with no indication of their relationship as his son or daughter.
