kālasyānugatir yā tu
lakṣyate ’ṇvī bṛhaty api
yāvatyaḥ karma-gatayo
yādṛśīr dvija-sattama
kālasyānugatir yā tu

Translation

¡Oh, tú el más puro de los brāhmaṇas!, por favor, también explica la causa de las diferentes duraciones del tiempo, tanto cortas como largas, así como también el comienzo del tiempo. Por favor, explica eso en función del transcurso de la acción.

O purest of the brāhmaṇas, please also explain the cause of the different durations of time, both short and long, as well as the beginning of time, following the course of action.
