Translation

A continuación, como no pudo encontrar los terneros, Kṛṣṇa regresó a la ribera del río, solo para descubrir que también los pastorcillos habían desaparecido. Entonces Se puso a buscar a los terneros y a los vaqueritos, como si no pudiera comprender lo ocurrido.

Thereafter, when Kṛṣṇa was unable to find the calves, He returned to the bank of the river, but there He was also unable to see the cowherd boys. Thus He began to search for both the calves and the boys, as if He could not understand what had happened.

Significado

Purport

Kṛṣṇa comprendió inmediatamente que Brahmā se había llevado a los niños y a los terneros, pero, haciendo el papel de un niño inocente, buscó por todas partes, de forma que Brahmā no pudiera entender la māyā de Kṛṣṇa. Todo era una actuación teatral. El actor lo sabe todo, pero, aun así, en el escenario actúa de manera que los demás no le comprendan.

Kṛṣṇa could immediately understand that Brahmā had taken away both the calves and the boys, but as an innocent child He searched here and there so that Brahmā could not understand Kṛṣṇa’s māyā. This was all a dramatic performance. A player knows everything, but still he plays on the stage in such a way that others do not understand him.
